A STORY OF ITALIAN EXPERTISE, INNOVATION AND INTERNATIONALIZATION

1968 - 1988

1968:
“C.M. Contenitori Metallici Srl”, is founded in San Pietro Mosezzo (Novara) by Alfredo Baglioni. It specializes in the production of pressure vessels.

1984:
The company obtains the ASME certification for sales in the USA.

1988:
The company opens a new production site in France.

In the same year, the EU issues the first directive regulating the production of pressure vessels and equipment; the Baglioni group obtains the CE certification for the distribution of its products throughout Europe.

1989 - 1999

In the mid-1990s, the group concentrates its design and engineering activities at its headquarters in Novara, leaving production at its subsidiaries.

2000 - 2002

2000:
The first sale in China is concluded by supplying products to the local branches of its main European customers.

2001:
About 50% of all compressor tanks sold in Europe are manufactured by Baglioni.

2002:
The Group enters the Special Pressure Equipment market - SPE - .

2003 - 2009

2003:
Baglioni opens its first production facility in China.

2009:
The company enters the US market directly to supply large customers via the MPV Morganton Pressure Vessels facility in North Carolina.

2010 - 2014

2010:
The Group opens its second facility in Shanghai (China) for the production of ad hoc Special Pressure Equipment for the Asian market.

2012: MPV starts manufacturing and distributing SPE products in the USA.

2013:
The Group acquires the engineering expertise and facilities from a company specializing in the Oil & Gas industry.

2015 - TODAY

2015:
The Group is organized into 3 divisions:

• SPV - Standard Pressure Vessels.
• SPE - Special Pressure Equipment.
• O&G - Oil & Gas Products.

2016:
Baglioni acquires 100% of ASTRA Refrigeranti, which has operated in the Gas & Air Coolers sector and with Oil & Gas and hydrogen products for 70 years.

The Baglioni Group has several production facilities and units for making both standard and special pressure vessels.

The ASTRA manufacturing unit specializes in the production of heat transfer solutions and pressure vessels for the industrial compressed air, hobby, agriculture, industrial refrigeration, automotive, Oil & Gas and hydrogen markets.

The AIR COM manufacturing unit in China specializes in the production of simple pressure equipment, vacuum vessels, vessels for medical applications and any other application that requires an air tank. In addition, non-standard vessels can also be made to customer specifications.

The MORGANTON manufacturing unit in North Carolina - USA - is specialized in the production of pressure vessels and vacuum vessels for medical applications and special pressure vessels.

The CSC (Costruzione Serbatoi Collaudati) manufacturing unit has two facilities and specializes in the production of pressure equipment and vacuum vessels.
