We are very happy to announce the first official hydrogen fair Baglioni will take part in this 2024. We are talking about the World Electrolysis Congress , the World Electrolysis Congress to be held March 4-7, 2024 , in Düsseldorf, Germany.
This is an annual event, now in its third year, dedicated to electrolyzer technology to power the future of theclean renewable hydrogen industry, demand for which is growing rapidly thanks to large-scale projects and government incentives.
The Congress will bring together the world’s hydrogen leaders from more than 20 countries for a four-day event packed with key content, masterclass days, and lectures-a crucial event to compare and accelerate the rapidly growing clean hydrogen industry.

What’s new in the 2024 edition of the World Electrolysis Congress
The World Electrolysis Congress 2024 program delves into challenges related to theintegration, supply chain, and efficiency of electrolyzer technology, which holds promise for the future of clean hydrogen production.
It will host about 600 world leaders and 100 specialized speakers, including project developers, policy makers, technology providers, funders and utilities, to discuss some relevant topics on green renewable hydrogen:
- policy
- finance
- efficiency of electrolyzers
- large-scale projects
- offshore projects
- supply chain
- renewable integration
- new technologies and innovations
The first day will be dedicated to the Masterclass day, devoted to 6 different, more in-depth and interactive workshop-style sessions on hydrogen, while the World Electrolysis Congress 2024 will conclude with an exclusive visit to the Port of Duisburg to learn about the port’s new hydrogen production infrastructure.
It aims to share knowledge, research results and recent developments in the field of electrolysis, but also discuss new methods, technologies and applications of electrolyzer technology to explore challenges and opportunities in the field.

In Baglioni we deal with the hydrogen for over 20 years through the production of steel vessels (carbon or stainless), pressure vessels and custom products for hydrogen systems.
Our Pressure tanks for hydrogen storage are tested and certified, and are produced in 2 different lines: with design pressure of 35 bar and 70 bar. We also design custom solutions, which are customized according to volume, pressure, design temperature, material, configurations (horizontal or vertical) and connections specifically requested by the customer.
Recently, we have focused on the production of high-volume, low-pressure buffer tanks for hydrogen storage, hence our first Low Pressure buffer catalog.
In addition, we have started the development phase of specific tanks for the storage of solid hydrogen , which contain hydride powder, adsorb and release hydrogen, with some prototypes certified for this type of technology.
