On March 19, 2024 Baglioni is featured at Tech Talk 2024 at the Polytechnic University of Turin.

Specifically, our team takes part in a speech focused on the topic of critical and unforeseen issues in hydrogen pressure vessel design with Prof. Andrea Mura as the keynote speaker.

This event gives us an opportunity to introduce our Company to an audience of PoliTO students and graduates, and to take a technical look at innovative technological topics of common interest (business and academic), such ashydrogen.

Baglioni speech topics at Tech Talk 2024 at the Polytechnic University of Turin

As anticipated, in the Tech Talk on March 19, 2024, the topic Baglioni brings revolves around critical issues and contingencies in the design of pressure vessels for hydrogen .

The first part of the talk focuses on introducing our Company and our commitment to the world of green hydrogen with the production of steel containers, horizontal and vertical tanks, and customized products.

This is a production made at the plants of Astra Refrigerants , started more than 20 years ago for the Oil&Gas sector , which has recently been expanded with:

• Very large, high volume tanks for low pressure hydrogen storage ( Low Pressure buffer catalog )
• Customized solutions in horizontal and vertical configurations
• specific tanks for the storage of solid hydrogen

We then analyze with PoliTo students and graduates:

• the main elements that make up pressure vessels
• the components for BOP (Balance of Plant) .
• the pressure vessels for separation
• The treatment of hydrogen within popular electrolyzers, including PEM and alkaline electrolyzers

As a result, in Tech Talk 2024 we explain what precautions to take when working with hydrogen in the welding, industrialization, serial and custom production phase.
